1. Acceptance and access
These draft terms apply when you visit the Mason Labs and App Empire websites, join the App Empire waitlist, or use the App Empire game. “Mason Labs” is the brand used for the service; the responsible legal entity has not yet been confirmed. If you do not agree with the final terms, do not use the relevant service.
2. Acceptable use
Use the websites and waitlist lawfully and do not disrupt, probe, overload, reverse-engineer access controls for, or attempt unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure. Do not submit another person’s email address without their permission or use the waitlist to send abusive or unlawful content.
3. Game and entertainment purpose
App Empire is a strategy and idle business simulation for entertainment. Its simulated visitors, signups, users, subscribers, revenue, costs, forecasts, and product outcomes are game values. They are not real customer, investment, or business results, and are not financial, legal, or business advice.
4. Content and intellectual property
The App Empire name, game, website, artwork, writing, and software are owned by or licensed to the rights holder, subject to any third-party rights. The identity of the legal rights holder must be confirmed before public launch. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial play and browsing, subject to these terms and applicable rights.
5. Availability and changes
The websites and game may be changed, paused, or discontinued. Features, content, balance, and availability may change as development continues. No release date or continuous availability is promised. Planned features can be delayed, changed, or canceled.
6. Local saves and future online features
The current game does not require an account and saves progress locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining your device and any backups it supports. Local progress may be lost if app data or the device is removed, reset, damaged, or unavailable. Cloud saves, sign-in, and cross-device play are not currently available.
Online seasons and shared rankings are not launched. If accounts, cloud saves, rankings, or other online features become available, additional terms and privacy disclosures may apply before you use them.
7. Virtual items, currency, and purchases
Cash, AI Tokens, and Gems are in-game resources only. They have no real-world value, cannot be redeemed for money, and are not transferable outside the game. The current app does not offer shop purchases. Gem packs, Season Pass, and VIP Pass are marked as coming soon; no price or availability is promised. If purchases are introduced, applicable store terms and updated service terms will govern them.
8. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or ended if needed to protect the service, respond to misuse, comply with a legal requirement, or discontinue the game. Since current progress is stored locally, ending website access does not necessarily delete local game data from your device; remove app data through your device settings if you want to delete it.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, the websites, waitlist, and game are provided as available, without a promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes a consumer protection or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, the service operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. The final wording, any monetary limitation, and required consumer exceptions must be reviewed for the governing law and legal operator before these terms are published as final.
